PURPLE FLOWERS FOREVER

It’s cold and hard here

Oh my she says

The trail pitches hard upward this day

The wind most hard and dry as

She lies down to sleep so may.

Dreaming of purple flowers

That stand tall this way..

A simple answer she may say

And a grudge against her side

To see his hand that she well knows

With purple flowers forever that cannot die.

Leaving burnt branch tips against her lips.

As soon as the flames die;

When he brings purple flowers to her arms

As he did this day:

Taking a few steps and settling down

In his arms as warm as she may

With purple flowers that he brings forever in the

November weather that he will take to his love so long today;

A kiss that maybe that is prone to hold in her eyes.

As she reaches for her love that promises the moon

He knows no other love but to his bride.

As he brings her purple flowers forever for a love to bloom:

    Very beautiful. One of Deborah’s best.

  2. Deb, how come I wasn’t aware of this? Guess I wasn’t tagged for this one. Anyway, very beautiful Deb and the graphic goes beautifully with it. Please remember to tag me for all your blogs so that this doesn’t happen: this was over a month ago you posted.
